Meet Doug Broxson

Doug Broxson's roots in the Panhandle are deep. His family has had a long history of public service since coming to Santa Rosa County in the early 1800s. He and his wife, Mary, raised their own family here. Now Doug has taken the conservative values that shaped his life to Tallahassee, where he was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2010.

He has fought to rein in government spending, roll back excessive regulation, and lower taxes on hardworking families. He firmly believes we need free market policies to promote job creation and economic growth. His devotion to God and country has made him a consistent champion of life and religious liberty. Doug has worked tirelessly to make sure Northwest Floridians have been treated fairly in the wake of the BP oil spill. On the House Insurance Committee, he has been a leader in working to lower property insurance rates.

Doug Broxson has always been a principled leader for Northwest Florida. And he always will be.

THE ISSUES

    All life is precious and given by God. I believe that life begins at conception. In the Bible, God tells Jeremiah that he "knew" him before he was formed in the womb. To say that the beating heart of a fetus is not a heart at all is contrary even to scientific evidence. Yet, there is a lot about our Nation right now that goes against scientific truths. I have always been an advocate for saving the lives of the unborn. Since the Supreme Court has overturned Roe Vs Wade the liberals in Washington are making every attempt to codify the killing of innocent children. They claim the number one killer of children is gun violence, yet in 2020, statistics show, that 930,160 abortions were performed!
    The Constitution guarantees law-abiding citizens of the United States the right to KEEP and BEAR Arms. This right is under attack from the radical left and we as conservatives must defend our constitutionally guaranteed liberties.
    Family is something very dear to my heart. Today the definition of family is something that radical leftists want to destroy.  Children and Parents are under attack from the radicals that seek to remove parental rights, use schools to impose far left ideologies like CRT and LGTBQ+ issues for children as young as 5! This must stop! For years I have defended family and I will continue to do so as long as I am your elected State Senator!

    The State of the Union is in a pretty bad state right now. The Democrats are printing money that we don't have and each day we go further into debt. We have forsaken our National Suppliers so we may beg and borrow from foreign countries that despise our very existence. All in pursuit of the the dream of Biden's "Green New Deal". The only deal that is being made is foreign bank accounts are getting bigger off of our tax dollars, and the tax dollars of our children and grandchildren. We must put an end to this lunacy and start making America sane again.

    Right now every American Citizen is feeling the impact of Bidenflation. We see it at the pump, grocery store, housing costs, rent, etc. How long will people be blinded by the snake oil salesman! I will continue to work with Governor Ron DeSantis to ensure that Florida serves as a shining example as to what common sense leadership can achieve!

    The Current Administration in D.C. wants to overrule the constitution and take claim to your state rights, your children, and your home. This is how a fascist regime always begins! We must stand up now and nip this in the bud before it is too late. I will always promote, support, and defend legislation that guarantees the freedoms granted to us by the constitution are always upheld.
